Your numbers will travel much further than you will.
The moment you submit your carbon emissions, they leave your building. They land inside an RFP, a customer’s annual disclosure, or a bank’s credit-risk file.
They will be scrutinized by people you may never meet. Out there, your numbers have to defend themselves alone.
Verification is the defence you send with them.
An accredited verification body tests the boundary, data and exclusions — backing the reported figure with independent assurance.

What will your numbers have to survive?
A bank review, an export requirement and a public carbon-neutrality claim do not demand the same evidence. Don’t guess the scrutiny your figures will face — choose the claim you need to make and the criteria it will be evaluated against.
Organizational GHG inventory verification
We examine the organizational boundary, emission sources, activity data, emission factors, calculations and consolidation approach against the applicable criteria — then state the level of assurance achieved.

Cement
Clinker is the number, not the fuel. Kiln boundaries and clinker factors are decisive.
Iron and steel

Petrochemicals
Multi-unit sites, shared steam and power, and allocation between co-products.
Fertilisers
Ammonia, urea and nitric-acid emissions, with linked precursors and process gases.
Aluminium
Electricity intensity, anode emissions and anode effects require separate evidence paths.
Oil and gas
Fugitives, flaring and venting are frequently the largest uncertainty in the inventory.

Imported and exported electricity, location versus market method, and contractual instruments.

Production route decides everything: feedstock, electricity source and the treatment of captured CO₂.
Glass and ceramics
Furnace fuel mix and carbonate decomposition sit side by side in the same process emission.
Metal fabrication
Purchased metal dominates the footprint, so supplier data quality decides the result.
Textiles
Wet processing, thermal energy and purchased yarn drive both the inventory and the product footprint.
Cables
Copper, aluminium and polymers push much of the product footprint into the supply chain.

We built Energy Up International for exactly this transition. We do not prepare your number and then verify it. We verify it.
As an independent validation and verification body, we examine the evidence behind the claim and issue our conclusion within the applicable accredited scope. Our accreditation status and scope can be checked independently.

What a verification statement actually carries.
Eight elements decide whether a statement can be relied on — and one of them is the reason a verification is not a certificate: the period is closed.
Objective, scope and boundary
What was examined, and exactly where the examination stopped.
Criteria
The standard or programme the statement is measured against.
Level of assurance
Reasonable or limited — stated, not implied.
Materiality
The threshold at which a misstatement would change a decision.
Intended user
Who the conclusion is addressed to and may rely on it.
Fixed reporting period — no surveillance
A closed period. No surveillance cycle. A later reporting year requires a new verification engagement — not surveillance of the previous statement.

The operator calculates. The verifier tests what was calculated.
The definitive CBAM regime has applied since 1 January 2026. The authorised CBAM declarant in the European Union carries the declaration and certificate obligations, while the operator outside the EU provides the installation data and embedded-emissions information.
Manufacturers therefore need a controlled monitoring plan, traceable production and precursor data, accepted calculation methods, managed data gaps, and an evidence file that can be examined independently.

ACCREDITATION NOT GRANTEDApplication accepted by ACCREDIA (ref. DC26PRT0296); documental review completed 19 October 2026; office assessment scheduled 28–29 October 2026; accreditation not granted. Accredited CBAM verification will be offered only after formal accreditation is granted and only within the approved scope.
