What the register shows

The certified entity, the standard, the certified scope, the sites and geography, the validity dates and the current status. A certificate applies only to the legal entity, sites, activities, standard and validity shown on it.

Suspended and withdrawn certificates are shown with their real status. Removing them would leave a holder able to present a document the register cannot contradict — which would destroy the value of the register.

Reading the result

  • Active — valid on today's date, for the scope shown and no more.
  • Suspended — invalid for its whole scope for the period of suspension; all claims of certification must stop.
  • Withdrawn — no longer certified; the mark must not be used and references must be corrected.
  • Expired — the validity period has ended without renewal.
  • Not found — no matching record. Check the number, then contact us before relying on the document.

Statements are a different register, at a different entity.

A validation or verification statement — for a GHG inventory, a project, a product footprint or a neutrality claim — is issued by Energy Up International LLC and checked in its own register. If the document names ISO 14064, ISO 14067 or ISO 14068-1 and states a level of assurance, you want the Statement Check.
